Senior Professionals Management Team Required – Pakistan Steel – Karachi

Pakistan Steel is Pakistan’s largest metallurgical complex producing steel products including billets, slabs, hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils, gal-vanized coils / formed sections and corrugated sheets. We supply high quality and cost effective steel products to the domestic market and are making efforts to enhance capacity utilization. In order to improve per-formance of the corporation, we require the services of senior professionals for our Management Team.

Chief Finance Officer:

Key Responsibilities:
Establish financial plans and cash forecast, determine funding requirements to support the Company’s strategic goals.
Plan, direct, control and coordinate organization’s financial and budget activities.
Identify, evaluate and manage financial risks and recommend optimal risk management solutions to mitigate the risks.
Conduct financial analyses, evaluate trends, interpret financial statistics and report to senior management.
Ensure establishment and maintenance of accounting, financial and budgetary controls to maintain company assets.
Ensure compliance; with legal. statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Experience:
Chartered Accountant with atleast 20 years post qualification experience in Finance, membership of a recognized body of professional accountants. and demonstrated knowledge and experience of Strategic Financial Management. Project Financing, Risk Management, Derivatives, Corporate Law, Banking Law and Income Tax Law, Excellent communication. Analytical Decision Making, Strategic planning and Financial Management skills are required.

Corporate Secretary:

Key Responsibilities:
Organizing meetings of the Board and its committees, preparation of notices, agendas, working papers etc.
Ensure compliance with legal, corporate governance and statutory requirements.
Assist in interaction with various government functionaries, regulators and represent the corporation when directed.

Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should possess at least 20 years experience of Corporate Secretarial Work, with MBA / CA LLB qualifications and should be member of a recognized body of chartered secretaries. Excellent Communication, Computer, Negotiation. Interpersonal and Organizational skills are required.

General Manager (Internal Audit):

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of annual internal audit plan in accordance with company policy.
Oversee audits of systems and business process highlighting compliance with the Company’s policies and areas of improvement for good governance.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
Oversee Risk Management Process (business and operational risks) to ensure that business risks are systematically mitigated
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior Management and Audit Committee.
Complete periodic follow-up of audit findings (both internal and external) to validate the effectiveness of action plans in response to audit recommendations, and communicate status updates to Management and Audit Committee.

Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should possess at least 20 years experience in the field of Audit, with MBA(Finance) I CA I ACCA / ACMA qualifications and should be member of a recognized body of professional accountants / auditors. Excellent Communication, Analytical Decision Making and Strategic Planning skills with a sound understanding of Business processes is required.

General Manager (Human Resource Development):

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage HR strategies for Recruitment. Compensation, Performance Management, OD, Training and Employee Relations which are aligned with Corporate Goals.
Continuously review and propose changes in HR Policies, Compensation and Benefits in order to make these competitive and to enhance Employee Satisfaction.
Foster a corporate culture and environment for Talent Management. promoting Employee Performance through a merit driven result orient-ed mindset, Employee Development, Career and Succession Planning.
Induct HR Best Practices and Process Improvements to transform and modernize the HR Department
Enhance Employee involvement, Engagement and Commitment through intensive Employee Interaction, internal Communication and Employee Events.

Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should possess an MBA with at least 20 years experience of Human Resource Management in a large manufacturing company Applicant should be mature, having Strong Communication, Interpersonal and Leadership Skills, Complete Command of HR Best Practices, a successful track record preferably in multinational companies and the ability to handle extremely challenging HR tasks in a tight time frame. Reporting to CEO. the selected candidate would be to Transform and Modernize the HR Department as well as lead major organizational restructuring, right sizing and change management initiatives.

General Terms & Conditions:
Upper age limit for above posts is 55 years.
Appointment will initially be on a One Year Contract, extendable with mutual consent.
