Energy Conservation Fund (ECF) is a Public Sector non-profit Company established under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984, located in Islamabad. ECF requires services of following professionals who possess expertise in their relevant field, excellent inter-personal and communication skills and have a high drive for achieving organizational objectives. All positions will report to the Managing Director.
1. Chief Financial Officer:
Job Profile: Candidate will be responsible to take into account all the assets of the company and shall manage the same as per the policy formulated for the same. He/ She will also be responsible for the establishment of accounts of the company, maintenance of the ledgers, supporting with necessary documents. He/ She will also be responsible for the effective management and investment of the funds of the company in the best possible profitable schemes. He/ She shall also lead the company team in dealing with the financial institutions and foreign donors for the development of various initiatives for the promotion and enhancement of the objectives of the company.
Qualification / Experience and Age:
Candidate should possess necessary qualifications prescribed under the Public Sector Companies Corporate Governance Rules 2013. He / She should be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least five years relevant experience and holding a Masters Degree in Finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least ten years relevant experience. The candidate should demonstrate extensive experience in financial management. The candidate should have exposure of working with international donors and financial institutions. Ideally the candidate should be in the age bracket of 40-50 years.
2. Company Secretary:
Job Profile: Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the governance framework, being responsible for the efficient administration of the company, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and implementing decisions made by the Board of Directors. The Company Secretary will be required to assist the Managing Director in implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors, serve as advisor to the Company Directors, liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, attend and record minutes of directors’ and members’ meeting and ensure that compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities are met.
Qualification / Experience and Age:
Candidate should possess necessary qualifications prescribed under the Public Sector Companies Corporate Governance Rules 2013. He / She should be a member of recognized body of professional accountants, or member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries and holding Masters Degree in Business Administration or Commerce, or a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, with at least five years of relevant professional experience. Ideally the candidate should be in the age bracket of 40 to 50 years.
Salary Package and Tenure.
Company offers market based remuneration along with fringe benefits as per company policy. The initial contract shall be for a period of two years extendable on satisfactory performance.
